Thomas Peter Kristian Mortensen (1882 - 1998), known as an adult as simply Christian Mortensen was a Danish-American supercentenarian. When he died in 1998 he was the longest living male of all time at 115 years and 252 days. Growing up as a son of a tailor he too learned the trade however took any number of jobs growing up. On his 115th birthday he gave his friends this advice: To achieve you need: Friends, a good cigar, drinking lots of good water, no alcohol, staying positive and lots of singing will keep you alive for a long time.
