A prominent pirate who raided along the Chinese coast during the Qing Dynasty, Ching Shih was reputed for her massive crew and strict code of conduct. She commanded over 300 junks and between 20,000 and 40,000 crew members, while her subordinates in her fleet included at least 1,500 other sailing vessels. Rising to power after her husband’s death, she convinced the crew to sway their loyalties to her as new commander.
As leader, she instituted a rigid and uncompromising code upon her crew to ensure fealty. Booty was to first be given to the finder, accountant and ship captain to purchase supplies for damaged ships. Afterwards, the remaining treasure was placed within the public fund. Theft carried the certainty of flogging and beheading, while sexual comportment with female prisoners could result in death if proper attention was not given to the woman. Deserters had the ears chopped off, while the disobedient were beheaded.
She amassed such a fortune through her crew’s forced loyalty and doggedness in attacking colonial powers, she was allowed to retire from piracy and keep her fortune.

Stabbing into the ground will affect people based upon their level of loyalty. If used generally, those who maintain relationships and trust are rewarded with wealth, which is spread equally between the recipients. Those who are overwhelmingly deceitful or wicked will suffer physical punishment such as mutilation and drowning. Using with a crowd that deeply knows the user allows them to single out those with and against the user and deal with them accordingly.
