Origin[]
During a 60-year long career, Charlton Heston appeared in the leading role of nearly 100 films. Classics such as The Ten Commandments, Planet of the Apes, Touch of Evil, Soylent Green, Ben-Hur and countless other show-stoppers. He inhabited the roles of ordinary soldiers, explorers and lawmen as deftly as icons like El Cid, Michelangelo, Moses and Cardinal Richelieu.
Outside of the film industry, Heston was an outspoken supporter of both Democrat and Republican parties. In the 50s and 60s, Democrat Heston supported the Civil Rights Act and marched with Dr. King in Washington D.C. Beginning in ’72, Heston switched to the Republican party – supporting Reagan and the Bushes during their campaigns. Heston served as president of the National Rifle Association from 1998-2003, famously wielding a rifle above his head and declaring his intent on protecting the right to bear arms.
Effects[]
Allows the user to embody an iconic figure in real-life and channel their attitude. Whether a humble savior or intrepid everyman, the user begins behaving similar to the way they’re immortalized in text, screen and song. When exposed to political debates, the user will support one of the major parties very publicly. Over time, they either switch to the opposing faction or lend credence to arguments on each side.
Never to be placed by Locusta’s Vials due to negative energies building when stored together.
