Origin[]
Charles Fort was a writer and researcher whose main area of interest was anomalous phenomena, including paranormal events, cryptic sightings, extraterrestrial visits and conspiracy theories. He spent much of his time compiling together scientific works in his own note taking system. Although he suffered from depression and would periodically destroy his work, he was able to publish several books with the help of writer Theodore Dreiser. His works gained a cult following and has helped inspire both science fiction and fringe science theories.
