Origin[]

Charles Dickens was an English Victorian author who wrote many stories about the plight of the lower classes. He wrote such stories as "A Christmas Carol", "Oliver Twist", "David Copperfield", and many more. Most of his works have an orphan child as a main character.

Effects[]

After swinging the racket, the user will be convinced that he/she is a poor orphan. Another noticeable side-effect is the development of a British speaking accent, the Cockney dialect.

Collection[]

Collected by Pete and Myka at a historical showing at Wimbledon Hall. A historian was demonstrating the use of the antique racket when he stopped to ask patrons for farthings to buy bread.
