Origin[]
Catherine the Great was empress of Russia from 1762 until her death in 1776. She rose to power after the death of her husband and turned Russia into one of the most powerful European states. During her reign, she often had favorite associates to support her actions in the military and at home. The modernization of Russia occurred greatly due to the increased reliance on serf labor. In the face of this, she embraced the ideals of the Enlightenment, founding one of the first state financed institutions for women’s education.
Effects[]
Embroidered with Catherine’s childhood nickname "Figchen", causes any woman who wears it to develop the confidence and thirst for power of a lady who would do anything to be queen.
