Origin[]
Bessica Faith Raiche née Medlar, known as Bessie Raiche, (April 1875 – 11 April 1932) was an American businesswoman, dentist, and physician. She was the second woman to fly solo in the US, having done so with no experience or real training in operating a plane. With her husband, they built a Wright-based biplane in their living room and yard out of bamboo, piano wire and silk fabric. Five flights reached a max distance of a mile. One of the earliest aerial crashes also happened to her, where the plane did a little bounce onto the ground and she was thrown out of the vehicle. With no injuries, she instead told onlookers to help haul the plane back to the shed.
Most including Raiche consider Blanche Scott’s flight 11 days prior to be the first female aviator. But there were many more witnesses for Raiche’s attempt, which was also intentional controlled flight and not just wind lifting up the wings. General interest in her flight was strong due to Raiche’s hobbies of music, painting, shooting, swimming and for a woman at the time, driving and wearing pants. To celebrate her flight, the Aeronautical Society of America awarded her a diamond-studded gold medal inscribed "First Woman Aviator in America". After several more flights she retired due to sickness, became a physician and one of the first female specialists in obstetrics and gynecology in America.
Effects[]
Eases one into understanding something new almost immediately after being exposed to it. Delivery method doesn’t matter, so long as they have some instruction or example to follow. Ideas just click in their mind with little resistance. User slowly loses weight similar to floating midair. Also turns the mind into brain foggy conditions, reducing focus on the smallest things until they pass out from tiredness to save energy in the body.
