'Romeo and Juliet' Is possibly the most famous play by William Shakespeare. It tells the story of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet who are in love; but the Monatgues and the Capulets are feuding families. Romeo and Juliet are married secretly by Friar Lawrence. When Romeo accidentally kills Tybalt, a Capulet, he is banished from the City of Verona. Juliet's Parents (oblivious of the marriage) wish that she marries Paris, a relative of the Prince of Verona, under the threat of disowning her. Julliet seeks the help of Friar Lawrence, who gave a special potion that makes Juliet appear to be dead. He would send a letter to Romeo informing him of the plan, but the letter never arrives. As Paris mourns over Juliet's 'dead body' in the crypt. Romeo arrives believing that Juliet is dead and kills Paris in a duel. After buying a poison from an apothecary, he commits suicide and drinks the vial. Juliet awakes from her 'death' and seeing Romeo dead, takes Romeo's dagger. and kills herself. At morning the Capulets, Montagues and the Prince of Verona arrives at the scene of the tragedy. Commenting that by their death, they stopped the family feud in Verona.
