Origin[]
Augustus Saint-Gaudens was an American sculptor of the Beaux-Arts generation who most embodied the ideals of the "American Renaissance". Raised in New York City, he traveled to Europe for further training and artistic study, and then returned to New York, where he achieved major critical success for his works. Saint-Gaudens also maintained an interest in numismatics and designed the $20 "double eagle" gold piece for the US Mint. It is now considered one of the most beautiful American coins ever issued, with a high value to match.
Effects[]
The coin will make anything the user wants more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The changes are usually well liked by the majority of people who see them. However, the coin has a tendency to change everything it sees, even if someone else has already put great amounts of time and energy into it.
