Origin[]
Artie Shaw, known as the King of Clarinet, was a famous composer an jazz and swing musician. He once turned down a million dollar contract in order to play for the troops during World War Two. Known for his compulsive perfectionism, and his overly controlling personality, Artie Shaw described himself as a difficult man. He was married eight times, each one ending unhappily. Despite his success and popularity, he quit playing the clarinet in 1954, saying that his perfectionism would have killed him.
Usage[]
The clarinet plays by itself, forcing those that hear it to try to play as well. It will give the user the ability to play well, however the user will never feel satisfied no matter how well he/she plays it. The lack of perfection will drive them to keep playing and playing, disregarding things like hunger, sleep, or personal contact. Due to its dangerous pull on others, it is placed within the Dark Vault in its own neutralizing field.
