Mr. Eternity as he became known, Arthur Stace was originally just a drunken, aimless soldier. After listening in on a sermon, he became utterly captivated with the idea of eternity. Now a reformed messenger, Stace literally took to the streets and began writing eternity all around Sydney in large, copperplate font. Illiterate but humbled, he evaded police and spectators to spread his revelation without being witnessed by anyone. Only a handful of pictures of Stace were taken, and now only two original inscriptions remain.

Inspired by the marvelous continuation of existence, the chalk embodies the definition of eternity and its profound effect on Stace. Even grazing it against a surface will coordinate all the user’s hand muscles to create a stunningly perfect drawing from memory. Capable of just the one image, the user will always match the original without fail. The user, although likely humbled by their experience, will also begin to obsess about some concept related to the artwork, never letting it slip their mind for as long as they think.
