Origin[edit | edit source]

Artaxerxes II Mnemon was the King of Persia from 404 BC to 358 BC. Artaxerxes was involved in the war with Persia's erstwhile allies, the Spatrans, who invaded Asia Minor. In order to redirect the Spartan's attentions to the Greek affairs, Artaxerxes subsidized their enemies. The Athenians, Thebans and Corinthians joined Artaxerxes in fighting the Spartans in what was later known as the Corinthian War. Artaxerxes later betrayed his allies coming to an arrangement with Sparta forcing his former allies to give in to his terms. The treaty allowed peace to reign and while everyone regained their lands Artaxerxes took several islands and cities to remain under Persian control.

Effects[edit | edit source]

Whoever owns the treaty can control whoever signs it into forced servitude.

Collection[edit | edit source]

Was collected by Bes before he joined Warehouse 2. The skill he showed when he stole the item caught the attention of the regents. At the time Bes didn't know it was an artifact.
