Origin[]

The Iroquois Theater had the deadliest theater fire in American history, with over 600 casualties. The fire safety measures were either inadequate or non-existent while the building itself was too complicated to leave during an emergency, contributing to the high death toll. The fire was caused when an arc light shorted out and caused a nearby curtain to catch fire.

Effects[]

Will output small electrical sparks when disturbed, especially when the bulb is twisted or shaken. While most quickly burn out, some smolder and start small fires which present the normal hazards. Also lock off any standard route of escape during an emergency, sealing exits under rubble and causing fire escapes to fall apart. Even hallway doors will lock at the most inopportune times and windows will suddenly be boarded up.
