Origin[edit | edit source]
Anne Bonny (1700 – 1782) was an Irish woman who became a famous pirate operating in the Caribbean. She married a poor sailor and small-time pirate named James Bonny who, with marriage, hoped to win possession of her father's estate. However Anne was disowned by her father and in retaliation set fire to the entire plantation.
Afterward they moved to the sanctuary for English pirates in Nassau called the Republic of Pirates. It was there where Bonny met and fell in love with John “Calico Jack” Rackham. Leaving her husband, she wed Rackham at sea and joined up with fellow female pirate Mary Read after stealing a ship anchored in Nassau harbor. The trio recruited a new crew and spent their final years in Jamaica capturing vessels and other treasures.
When she was caught in 1720 she and Read claimed pregnancy as a stay of execution. A guard attempted to fire her pistol and found it faulty; he made the mistake of leaving it where she could reach. Making her escape, she vanished into the myths of history.
Effects[edit | edit source]
Extremely accurate when fired. Will adjust the user's hand positioning to point steadily at whatever they want. User can sense patterns in moving targets and predict where to fire for critical hits. Only works for females.
