Origin[edit | edit source]

Anfo Merc is a Youtuber and member of the "Anfo Merc" rock/metal/experimental band. His videos are typically either his music or of some strange events such as UFO sightings, strange cloud formations, meteorites, etc. One such video explains his discovery of controlled feedback, where in 1997 he held his battery amplifier to his guitar and created a strange noise. However, after doing it again in 2009, strange things began to happen.

2009: He was arrested and missed a concert he was involved in.

2010: His band at the time split up.

2011: His cats of 6 1/2 years ran away.

Effects[edit | edit source]

When the guitar and amplifier are brought in close proximity to each other and played, the resulting feedback will both greatly agitate and excite those who hear it, which can result in extreme behavior harmful to themselves and those around them, such as rioting or mania. Additionally, unless neutralized, each time they play them together, the player will experience growing misfortune, and it is theorized (though not confirmed) that it might result in the death of the player or those around them.

Collection[edit | edit source]

Collected from Anfo Merc's home in 2011 by Agent Nielson and Agent Donovan after his video about the guitar's strange effects was posted.

Storage and Handling[edit | edit source]

Stored on separate podiums in the Dark Vault.

Neutralizer gloves are mandatory. When removing from the neutralizer fields, make sure only one of the artifacts is removed at a time and stored in a neutralizer box before removing the other to prevent accidental activation.
