Appearance[]
A Greek sundial on a pedestal.
Creation[]
Anaximander introduced the sundial to Greece around 560 B.C. During his demonstration, the gnomon apparently tilted slightly. This caused the sundial itself to develop its power, as time appeared to stop around it.
Abilities[]
The sundial's Gnomon (the piece that casts a shadow) is what gives the sundial its power. Removing will cause time to pause until the piece is returned. Upon being reunited with the dial, the user is blinded as if by sunlight for the length of time that passed for them.
