OriginEdit

The battleship USS Maine (ACR-1) was an American naval vessel whose sinking in the Havana Harbor on the evening of February 15, 1898 resulted in the start of the Spanish-American War. Although initial reports suggested that the explosion was the result of a mine, which Congress and the American people assumed was placed by Spain, later reports suggested that a fire started and got to the ammunition, which proceeded to explode and sink the ship.

EffectsEdit

Placing the Ammunition aboard a ship will start a fire in the evening, which will later result in an explosion.
