A wooden shaft tied together with two amber-colored lenses that nevertheless provide clear vision when looked through.

Abilities[]

The Spyglass allows the user to see through illusions and invisibility. For example, if someone was using the Honjo Masamune to be invisible, the spyglass would reveal what was really there: a person wielding a katana. If a person was using Harriet Tubman's thimble to look like someone else, it would show the person's true appearance.

It has been theorized that combining the spyglass with the Ren statuette would allow a person to discover another person's true name, but this has not been proven, nor would it be permitted, as names like that have a LOT of power.

It has also been observed that the user can view the connections between an artifact and its user or affected victim by way of a beam of energy or color.

In the source material, the Spyglass allows the user to see Dust (a type of cosmic particle attracted to consciousness, such as an adult or a carved statue).

Trivia[]

When used to view Azletar, the entity is shown to as its base homonculus form with an aura of energy surrounding it in its regular appearance.
