OriginEdit

Alexis Benoist Soyer (1810 - 1858) was a French celebrity chest who was one of the most celebrated cook in Victorian England. To alleviate the suffering of the Irish poor in the Great Irish Famine he wrote a pamphlet which he donated a penny for relief of the poor for every copy sold. He also worked to improve the food that went to British soldiers. One last thing he created to aid the poor was the very first soup kitchen serving thousands of the poor for free. Even after the famine was over it wasn't enough for him as he invented a portable stove called the magic stove which would allow people to cook food anywhere. After that he wrote a book on how to make delicious soups full of nutrients donating all proceeds of the book to various charities. Before taking his leave from London he opened an art gallery, all entrance fees went to charity to feed the poor.

EffectsEdit

His cutting board was imbued with all the sense of charity that Soyer held for those less fortunate than himself. Soyer took care of himself and his family along with donating to the poor however the cutting board seemed to miss the second part as when using it all thoughts of eating leave the users head.
