Alexander Steinert was a composer, conductor and pianist who worked on radio, TV and film soundtracks. He conducted George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and musical pieces for Disney’s Bambi. He later ran productions for major broadcasting networks, including NBC, CBS and ABC.
