Origin[]

Aleister Crowley (12 October 1875 – 1 December 1947), born Edward Alexander Crowley, and also known as both Frater Perdurabo and The Great Beast 666, was an English occultist, mystic, ceremonial magician, poet and mountaineer, who was responsible for founding the religious philosophy of Thelema. In his role as the founder of the Thelemite philosophy, he came to see himself as the prophet who was entrusted with informing humanity that it was entering the new Aeon of Horus in the early 20th century.

Effects[]

Wearing the hat infuses wearer with Crowley's mind-set, infecting the soul with evil thoughts and actions. Knife keeps the connection of the hat with wearer, even after separation. Cutting someone with the knife will taint their blood, transferring the effects. While this effect is in action, the blade will constantly drip with the blood of the affected. Using the knife to kill a person makes the hats sphere of influence stronger, making it easier for other people to become swayed by the goals of the artifact.

Note[]

For security reasons, the hat is stored in the Dark Vault and the knife in the Regents Vault, as it does not activate until the hat has been worn. Agents have noted that while looking at the hat, they experience flashes of visions including fire, demonic faces and corpses.
