Origin[edit | edit source]
Alboin was king of the Lombards from 560 until 572. During his reign, they ended their previous migrations and settled in northern Italy. His invasion of the Pannonian Basin led to Lombard control for several centuries afterwards. After an alliance with the Avars, he successfully took over large amounts of territory, including most of northern Italy. Alboin was later assassinated in a coup instigated by the Byzantines, although the Lombards elected a new leader to replace him.
Effects[edit | edit source]
Allows the drinker to control anything of Italian origin. This is especially potent with people of Italian ancestry, which can cause them to unwillingly obey the user’s commands. They can only control their movements but have no influence on their emotions or memory. Normally, a third party will notice the user’s activities over time. They will see the potential threat they pose and will try to get rid of that person’s influence.
