Aesop is considered one of the most famous storytellers in recorded history, renowned for his numerous fables, or life stories using animals and objects. Originally a Grecian slave, he used his intelligence to gain his freedom and become a royal advisor to several cities and rulers.

It was collected in 201 AD by Warehouse 3 agent Gnaeus Marcus Rubidicon on personal request of emperor Septimius Severus, who found this particular artifact extremely intriguing.
