OriginEdit

A simple deck of playing cards fashioned after the Batman animated series. The actual time of the birth of the artifact is unknown.

EffectsEdit

Taking the cards out of the pack fills the one who does so with a sense of nostalgia, and they gain a talent for playing all card games. However, the more the cards are played with, the more they increase the winning obsession of the original user. The greater the obsession, the more the cards turn against them.

Agents noted that the sense of nostalgia lasts for several days after being neutralized, and the user usually craves anything from their childhood. It is unclear what would happen if a child would play with the cards with regard to the nostalgia effect.

CollectionEdit

Agent Stall and Lattimer were sent on a biding run to snag a few particular artifacts that had cropped up in random, but private, auction houses. During that time there was a comic book expo going around and after gathering the major artifacts, Mr. Stall and Pete stopped by as they had the rest of the day off. While there, Mr. Stall came across a vendor selling the deck of cards. After touching it and noticing it was an artifact, Mr. Stall easily purchased the deck and took it back to the Warehouse.
